The Bologna construction, invented and inherited in the Bologna region in Italy,
is one of the most luxurious shoe manufacturing construction methods.
The leather upper is wrapped all the way around and directly stitched to the sole.
With no insole touching feet, this method provides a comfortable fit.
Inspired by the words, ‘to archive’ and
‘épke,’ standing for ‘études for people with a keen sense,’
we designed our shoe box to look like a filing cabinet and our brand profile like a notepad.
We put lots of time and effort to make our package basically ‘reusable.’
If we had to make a package, we did not want it to be wasted just after one use.
Our main objective was to create shoe box and dust bag that could be used again
for other purposes.
